Ok, so you’ve had salted caramels and love them because of their salty sweetness, but do you want to level up? Then try my personal favorite caramel that features a hickory smoked salt! The smoke flavor on the salt adds a touch of umami to the salty and sweet flavors already found in a salted caramel.
This caramel is considered soft bite (so no hard candies here) and also a soft chew (which means no crazy sticking to the teeth), in fact we have many customers comment that this is the only caramel product that doesn’t affect their dental work.
INGREDIENTS: sugar (brown and white), evaporated milk, corn syrup, heavy whipping cream, butter, vanilla, smoked salt
Allergen warning: may contain dairy, tree nuts (pecans, almonds, pistachios, cashews), soy and peanuts. Gluten-free kitchen. While there are no peanuts in this recipe, it is all shared equipment, and so anyone with severe peanut allergies should not ingest as peanut oil can spread so easily.
